The Hideaway Farmhouse Apartments – Amandola
Looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday in the beautiful Le Marche area of Italy? Well look no further because, at The Hideaway, ideally located between Amandola & Comunanza, near The Sibillini National Park, we provide everything for your self-catering holiday.
Hidden in a tranquil, wooded valley surrounded by nature & birdsong, we have three very well equipped self-catering apartments set in 2.5 acres of gardens & countryside. Everything is provided to ensure your holiday is a perfect one.
Valley View and Garden View Apartments sleep up to 4 guests & The Stables sleeps up to 2. In addition we have an ensuite double bedroom available, so we can sleep 12 guests in total. A welcome pack is provided to get your holiday underway, including a bottle of delicious wine waiting for you on arrival!
Outside there is a terrace for relaxing, gazebos for dining & socialising & our large garden provides areas for chilling out, reading & BBQing or swimming in the pool (from May – September). In the garden you will find our seasonal vegetables & herbs for you to use whilst cooking traditional Italian meals. We can even provide recipe books for you to use or arrange cookery courses. There is a table tennis table for your use & outdoor games for the children. Just the perfect place for recharging your batteries & getting away from it all. We live in the house next door & can be reached easily if you need any help or advice.
Your Hideaway holiday home is ideally located for exploring stunning Le Marche. From rambling or skiing in the Sibillini’s to the beaches of the Adriatic & everything in between. Picturesque hilltop towns & villages, opera & festivals, museums & churches, restaurants & markets, history & art, tradition & culture. There’s really is something for everyone in the delightful Le Marche region of Italy.
Valley View – Sleeps 4
Your beautiful two bedroomed, well appointed self-catering apartment is situated upstairs in our 17th century farmhouse with views over the peaceful countryside & woodland. Everything is provided to ensure your stay with us is a memorable one. The apartment has been lovingly restored in a charming rustic style, with cotto tiles, wooden beams & shutters which compliment the modern comforts of central heating, fly screens & double glazing.
With your own private entrance via the covered loggia & an area for dining & relaxing outside, you enter the living room with comfy armchair & double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, games & books for your entertainment. The separate fully-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, four burner gas hob, fridge. freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetierre, plenty of glassware, crockery & cooking utensiles & a dining area.
There is a washing machine next door, with airer, iron & ironing board & a weekly use is included. If you require more than one wash a week, a small charge will be made for any additional use. For stays of more than 7 nights, towels & linen are changed at the end of your first week.
Your romantic master bedroom with comfy double bed & luxury bedding has views over Montefalcone & wooden beams & shutters for a peaceful peaceful nights sleep. Also included is a safe & hairdryer. The second bedroom has a single bed, a sofa bed & wardrobe & is idea for children. Your bathroom has a shower, wc, wash basin & complimentary toiletries.
Garden View Apartment – Sleeps 4
Garden View overlooks the gardens, woodland & surrounding tranquil countryside. Situated on the ground floor of our farmhouse, the apartment has its own terrace for dining on warm summer evenings. Your living room is complete with a comfortable sofa, arm chairs, CD player & a selection of CD’s, basic Satellite TV, DVD player & indoor games & books.
At the far end, the kitchenette is equipped with a four ring gas hob, fridge, microwave with small convection oven, kettle, toaster, cafetierre, plenty of crockery & glasswear, cooking utensils, tea towels & washing up liquid. There is also a dining table & chairs. The en-suite double bedroom is fitted with luxury bedding, coded safe. complimentary toiletries, shower, wc & bidet & a separate door leading onto the terrace & gardens.
The second bedroom if required, has twin beds & an en-suite bathroom with bath & shower, bidet, wc & door leading onto the terrace. Please note: The second bedroom, if required, although right next door to the living area, does not have an internal door connecting the two. It is entered via the terrace just next door.
The Stables Apartment – Sleeps 2 (Plus a baby)
The Stables is our little apartment, overlooking Montefalcone, the giant walnut tree & surrounding tranquil countryside. Situated on the ground floor at the end of our farmhouse, the apartment is relaxing, shady and cool in the heat of the summer. Whether you are looking for a short break or 2 weeks Summer sun, the apartment makes a budget cost option but with all the high standards of our larger apartment.
Your living area & kitchen in The Stables Apartment is complete with ‘stube’ style seating & dining table, TV with digibox, DVD player & indoor games & books. For the odd rainy day, we have a DVD library for you to choose from. The kitchen area is well equipped with a four ring gas hob, fridge, microwave with small convection oven, kettle, toaster, cafetierre, plenty of crockery & glasswear, cooking utensils, tea towels & washing up liquid.
From here, a door leads to your lovely en-suite double bedroom, which is fitted with luxury bedding, coded safe, tv and dvd player. The bathroom has complimentary toiletries, shower, wc & bidet & all towels are supplied. Outside you have your own seating area with garden furniture, parasol & beautiful views. You might even spot our woodpecker if you are lucky!
Prices For Valley View Apartment Including All Guests:
Low Season: January, February: 595 euros per week, 90 euros per night
Mid Season: March, April, May, October, November: 650 euros per week, 100 euros per night
High Season: June, July, August, September, Easter & Christmas & New Year Weeks: 695 euros per week, 115 euros per night
Prices For Garden View Apartment Including All Guests:
Low Season: January, February: €495 weekly, €80 nightly (1 double bedroom), €550 weekly, €85 nightly (2 bedrooms)
Mid Season: March, April, May, October, November: €550 weekly, €85 nightly (1 double bed), €595 weekly, €90 nightly (2 beds)
High Season: June, July, August, September, Easter & Christmas & New Year Weeks: €595 weekly, €90 nightly (1 double bed), €645 weekly, €95 nightly (2 bedrooms)
Prices For The Stables Apartment Including All Guests:
Low Season: January, February: 450 euros weekly, 70 euros nightly
Mid Season: March, April, May, October, November: 495 euros weekly, 80 euros nightly
High Season: June, July, August, September, Easter & Christmas & New Year Weeks: 550 euros weekly, 85 euros nightly
The prices include your heating, gas, water, welcome pack & final cleaning of your apartment. There are no hidden extra costs. A deposit of 25% secures your booking, with the balance due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. You can send a bank transfer, or pay via Paypal or cheque. Full confirmation will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit.
Well behaved pets are welcome at no extra charge.
The apartments are non-smoking, but you are welcome to smoke outside where ashtrays are provided.
Everything is provided to ensure a relaxing stay with us – just bring your camera!

Cleaning of the apartment at the end of your stay (As we have a short change-over time we would appreciate it if you could please leave the apartment as you find it on your arrival!)
NB There is no telephone in the apartment, but you may use ours in an emergency.
